Dutch Babies Recipe {free printable recipe card}

 These delicious, easy to make egg pancakes have a few names: Dutch Babies . . . German Pancakes . . . Hootenannies . . . whatever you call them, they are DELICIOUS! Since I married a Dutchman, I like to call them Dutch babies:)
My mom and sisters recently took a girls trip out here (still laughing out loud at the crazy fun time we had) and I made these for them. One of my sisters said she has never seen or heard of these. . . WHAT?!? I don't understand how we are sisters and don't know the same food. Anyway, this post and recipe card printable is in honor and of her and anyone else who has gone their whole life without tasting of this goodness.
All it takes is 5 ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Heat your oven to 400 degrees, melt the butter in a 9x13 pan by placing it in the oven (unless you like burnt butter, keep your eye on it. It doesn't take long to melt)
Meanwhile, Whip your eggs together: add milk, flour and salt. Blend together and pour over the melted butter.
Increase the oven temperature to 450 and bake for 15-20 minutes, reduce heat to 350 and bake for another 5 minutes.

NOTE: I ran out of flour and had to use half whole wheat flour, so it didn't come out as "yellow" as they normally do. . . and threw my kids for a loop. Good grief. However, after promising over and over again that it tasted the same, they gobbled it up.
It will REALLY puff up in the oven, don't worry that is normal and will collapse a bit when you take it out of the oven, like the picture below.
 Sprinkle those babies with powdered sugar and fresh squeezed orange juice and the whole pan will be gone before you know it!
Here is a 4x6 recipe card to add to your breakfast stash! Enjoy!

Spiderweb Munch Recipe {Free Printable Recipe Card}

I saw this recipe in our local newspaper and anything with 5 or less ingredients
(and 2 of those being chocolate and peanut butter) I have to try!
All it takes is toasted rice cereal, peanut butter, semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used milk chocolate because I LOVE it) and powdered sugar.

Start by melting your bag of chocolate chips and 3/4 cup peanut butter in a saucepan on low/medium heat, stirring constantly. When it is completely melted, remove from heat and add 1/3 cup powdered sugar, stir vigorously until all the lumps are gone.
I could just eat the pot of hot chocolate and peanut butter and be happy.
Pour one cup of your mixture into a bowl with 3 cups of toasted rice cereal in it until it is covered.
(I just eye balled one cup, I didn't want to deal with the mess of measuring out one cup)
After it is all mixed in well, put on an ungreased cooking sheet and form into a circle with about a one inch rim with your spatula (I tried my hands and made a huge mess, don't recommend it)

Pour the rest of the chocolate mixture in the circle. Put peanut butter in a heavy duty bag, cut a little hole in the corner and pipe concentric circles around the middle. With a toothpick, start at the middle and draw a line out forming your spiderweb.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, cut into wedges and ENJOY!

Here is a 4x6 recipe card that you can save to your computer and print. Just click on card to open in a new window, right click and save.
So easy, so good and so cute!
