NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP

Life has forced my little corner of the world wide web to slow down drastically . . . I am not going to lie it has been soooo nice to do a project and not take pictures along the way and post about it after. I seem to enjoy projects more and not worry how it will look on screen. However, I do miss socializing with people whom I have never met in person but feel as though I know them through all the social networks out there. Anyway, I am still here just not posting as often. My posts are mainly when I get ideas from customers that I think the rest of my readers will like and I turn them into freebies:) Like this simple but fun NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP print from a wonderful teacher who asked me to make it for her classroom.
There are four colors to choose from, just click on the image and save to your computer. I think this is a great quote for the New Year and hope we all keep this in mind!

All the prints are 8x10's. I hope you all have a fabulous 2013!!! Follow SugarTot on facebook so you don't miss any free printables!

Mini Glitter Banner for Christmas {free printable}

I shared this post  at Design Dazzle's 100 Ideas of Christmas Wonderful and want to share it with my readers. . .
I combined my favorite things for a holiday project . . glitter, christmas, printables and the help of my boys! The result, a mini glitter name banner for their Christmas tree!
All you need is:
Printout of banner
Scissors
Glue
Glitter
Twine or Ribbon
Mini Clothespins
To begin, let your kids pick which color they want and find the letters to spell their name.
(The possibilities are endless here, you can use any Christmas words or save these for later use as cake toppers, party decor or any holiday banner. . . your welcome:))
RED
NEON GREEN
YELLOW
TEAL
PURPLE
SEA GREEN
PINK
Click the buttons above to download the color(s) of your choice.
After you have downloaded and printed out your mini banner, simply cut out each banner,
carefully put glue on the letter - you could also use glitter paint,
sprinkle the glitter on the glue (my boys favorite part, we might have used a whole jar on one letter when my 2 year old wanted to help;)) and shake off the excess,
fold each banner in half,
glue over twine or ribbon,
and you have a mini banner ready to hang!
We even glittered our clothespins to hang them (yep, obsessed with glitter right now).
You can get all the background dot paper I used at Sprik Space courtesy of Amy!

I hope you have fun with your kids making these mini banners for your tree, home or holiday parties! Feel free to stop by SugarTot Designs for more free printables or my Shop for your holiday cards!
Merry Christmas!

Blessed Thanksgiving Banner {Free Printable}

My wonderful, supportive sister asked me to make a Thanksgiving banner that was quick and easy to put together. So, I give you a quick and easy BLESSED Thanksgiving banner that is easy to put together:) It is a simple reminder that I really should have hanging more than one month out of the year.
To make your own banner, simply click the download button,
print at home or take to your favorite printer (OfficeMax, Staples, Kinko's, etc.),
Cut out each banner (easiest with a straight edge cutter)
Use a hole punch to punch a small hole at both top corners,
Tie ribbon or string to attach the banner together,
Hang and enjoy!
Good ol' Martha Stewart gave me the idea to wrap twigs with yarn for a pop of color!
The banner can also be hung with some twine and clothes pins which would make assembling this even easier.
I hope you enjoy your new BLESSED Thanksgiving banner!

Yellow Striped Nursery ***UPDATE***

Well, my little man is almost 9 months old and I am finally done making the changes that have been nagging at me. Here is the BEFORE . . .
and the bright, happy AFTER!!! (Well, it was pretty bright before but now it is extra bright) My mother-in-law was getting rid of her white crib and I begged to have it. It took a year and a horse trailer to get it out here but it's here! :) The shelf was a $15 Craigslist find that I painted white.
I made the yarn mobile and you can find the tutorial for that HERE.

Another BEFORE . . .
and AFTER

My Mom and I found these adorable tops at a vintage store in Old Market, Omaha. I LOVE them and my boys have a great time with them as well. The lamp was a Target find that I covered with fabric.
BEFORE
and AFTER

Not a huge change from the before. I just painted the changing table white, the yellow was too much with the yellow stripes and kelly green wall.
This is my lovely Anatomy alphabet from Oh Moon
These book ends are my Dad's actual baby shoes that are now bronzed. I will ALWAYS cherish them! (I really should have taken the time to dust them off before taking a picture. . .)
And this is my sweet little, 9 month old Lincoln wreaking havoc as usual. I love it! Here is to hoping that he doesn't crawl out of his crib in a few months like my other boys did. Hopefully this crib will keep him in there better than the other one!
