Harry Potter Birthday Party

my cute niece asked me to make her a few printables . . . and by a few, i mean quite a few:) 
for her 13th birthday party (still can't believe she is 13) which happened to land on the opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II
which happens to be one of her favorite movies/books.
so, i went to work with the help of her expertise on all things harry potter and the amazing creativity, patience, and hard work of my sister on getting ready for her party. . .
 and by party, i mean a 3 day party involving a harry potter movie marathon with 10 13 year olds!
i think my sister had a LOT of caffeine to keep up with those girls. 

i must worn you that just looking at these pictures makes me exhausted, not sure how my sister did it!

the party was complete with a display of potions,

house flags,

breakfast table,

snack table,

lunch table,

dinner table,
"great hall" banner,

favors which included a tie 

(something my sister just "whipped up" the night before the party. . .it's okay to not like her just a little bit), 

harry potter glasses and a lightening tattoo,

hands on instructions on how to tie a tie,

 harry potter cupcakes,
watching ALL 7 harry potter movies,
and last but definitely not least, going to the midnight showing of
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, PART II.

 oh, how i wish i could have used the floo network to go to that party.
it was in utah, i am in nebraska,
they are 13, i am 27.
i was out of luck.

***Star Wars Birthday Party Invitation***

a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. . .

a little boy watched "star wars" for the first time and coming from a "star wars" loving family, it made his mom happy to see how much he enjoyed it.

monster birthday party

remember this invitation? well, since it has been over a month since my little sugar tot turned one, i thought it was time to post some pics of his monster bash.

this was thrown together pretty fast and out of state but with my family so it was just perfect!

tatum's cousins had fun decorating their own monster cupcakes, eating eye-ball jello, lil' sandwiches, fruit, monster cookies and some monster energy drinks.

my AMAZING mother-in-law made him that INCREDIBLE monster quilt!

LOVE it!!!

baby boy shower invitation & the letter "O"

my sister-in-law is a patient, easy-going, brave woman. she does not find out what she is having so with great anticipation we found out on march 24th that she had another little boy!

i am a bit biased about little boys and think they are the best:)

so, i finally got to make her a baby shower announcement and. . .

a print for her newest little guy's nursery. . .

and a print for the big brother's room!

toy story 3 party invitations & cupcake toppers

my little man turns 3 tomorrow.

his best buddy also turns 3 tomorrow.

they are obsessed with toy story 3.

enough said.

those boys were in heaven surrounded by their best friends and all things toy story.

the gang pinned the badge on woody, helped fix mr. potato head, built parachutes for the toy soldiers, used "the claw" to get the toys out of the basket, enjoyed some "slinky dogs" and "al's toy barn cheese balls."
